Thank you, Dad.

1978

In 1978, I started playing in little league and playing baseball with the neighborhood kids. But my problem was, I could not hit a pitched ball. One day, I was practicing in the back yard by hitting the ball out of my hand. My father volunteered to pitch the ball to me. He taught me how to hit a pitched ball. The first balls I hit were fouled by the third base side, it didn’t matter, I gained confidence that I could hit balls that were pitched. That meant I could play in little league teams. To me that meant a lot.
